AAA Division
Cubs 4, Giants 3
Cubs Cole Leonard, Gabe Spitzer and Patrick Goodrich who each had two hits and Patrick Goodrich and Jeremy Goodrich had big catches on defense in the bottom of the 6th inning to secure the victory. Michael Arcangeli and Cole Sahner who each had two hits for the Giants.
Cubs 10, Braves 8
Cubs Patrick Goodrich, Jeremy Kain, Saashin Subramaniam and Jake Grasso all had two hits and Carson Roberson made a big catch in left field. Nolan LaRiviere who went 3-for-3, with two RBI and two runs for the Braves.
Braves 7, Giants 6
Nolan LaRiviere singled to score Nevaeh DiNapoli with the game-winner in the bottom of the last inning. Adrie Ruf and Mike Arcangeli dueled on the mound for four innings and Matt Morrison had three hits and Toby Walpole two for the Giants. Carson Codiga, LaRiviere, Dash Finn and Nick Del Mar with three hits for the Braves.
Majors Division
Tigers 5, Padres 3
Robert Hipwell and Casey Collins, who also hit a home run, pitched for the Tigers while Stephen Arum-Billow singled and doubled and Jostin Barber tripled. Blake Engelking grabbed a fly ball to right field and Ambrose Johnson scored.
Padres Shane and Sören Burns combining for 11 strike outs and Braiden Lewis, Davin Kiesby and both Burns’ singled and Bryce Clark hit a home run to centerfield.
Padres 10, White Sox 0
Bryce Clark pitched 5 shut out innings for the Padres with 8 strike outs and Sören Burns hit a 2-run homer. For the White Sox, Angelo Segretto and Kyle Smith doubled.
White Sox 7, SLV Dodgers 6
The White Sox went up for good on an RBI single by Connor Schelstraete off Reid Olmstead, bringing home Angelo Segretto. Kyle Smith was 3-for-3 and Zephyr Christensen, Angelo Segretto and Kyle Smith combined for six hits and two RBIs.
For the Dodgers, singled and stole second. Additionally, Clay Brown scored on an RBI single by Issac Menge.
SLV Little League
Majors Division
Rockies 16, Braves 6
The Rockies scored 12 times in the third inning, led by Brodie Brownlee who tripled, scored four runs and had two RBIs. Rocky Chris Markey ignited the offense with a two run single that scored Seamus McMillan and Justin Bottger in the second.
For the Bravs, Hagan Warner scored on a single by Jackson Parmenter and Terry Mirande had an RBI single.
Rockies 9, SV White Sox 6
Rockies pitcher Riley Van Wickle closed out a jam on the mound and the Rockies batted around in the second. Andrew Gudnason and Matthew Carney were 3-for-3 on the day and scored two runs.
Dodgers 8, Braves 7
Shay Monowitz had two huge hits for the Dodgers, and brought in the game-winner with a 6th-inning double. Clay Brown scored twice in the game.
Minors Division
Tigers 12, Red Sox 10
Red Sox had 14 hits including an inside the park home run from Cash Ebright. Ryan Hodge went 3-for-3, with two triples and a double with three RBIs.
For the Tigers Connor Bisby and Robbie Matajcich each tripled and Matajcich struck out four in the final two innings.
Red Sox 13, A’s 5
Batters seven through 11 scored six runs for the Sox. Charlie Kirkman had two full-count walks and scored once. Riley Abernathy had a third inning single and scored on an error. Michael Manley hit a bases-clearing triple for the A’s.
