Kiwanis of the Valleys
The Kiwanis-sponsored 2014 Music at Skypark kick-off concert held on July 27 was a huge success. The show broke all previous attendance records and raised thousands of dollars for the music program in local public schools.
On Saturday, Aug. 30, the club will once again be partnering with local businesses and vendors for the second Music at Skypark installment of this summer.
Opening the show will be Scary Little Friends, and headlining will be local favorites the Coffis Brothers and the Mountain Men. The show starts at 3:30 p.m. and ends at 7 p.m.
Admission to the event is free and the net proceeds raised from the sale of food, wine and beer are donated to the music programs.

The Kiwanis-sponsored Circle K Club at UCSC was recently recognized as an outstanding club at the Circle K district convention.
The Kiwanis meet at 7 a.m. every Wednesday morning at Bruno’s BBQ. An evening meeting is held on the second Wednesday of each month at Bruno’s at 6:30 p.m.
