The Valley Women’s Club invites the entire community to honor the 2015 recipients of the Hammer-Marcum Award. On Sunday, October 25th, 1:30-3:30 p.m., at the Highlands Park Senior Center, the recipients will receive their awards for extraordinary volunteer service to the community. This year the award goes to Hallie Greene and Jim Rapoza.
Our government representatives will join in the Celebration in their honor. State Senator, Bill Monning, State Assembly Member, Mark Stone, and our 5th District Supervisor, Bruce McPherson, will be there in person to present tributes to the honorees. Congress Member, Anna Eshoo, will be present or will send her representative to give special recognition.
The event features delicious desserts provided by Jeri Green Oneto and Renee Kuehl. Music will be by talented jazz pianist, Steve Abrams, with special presentations honoring the recipients.
