SLV Hoops, Youth, Inc. a new youth sports league in San Lorenzo Valley
Six volunteers have started San Lorenzo Valley Youth Basketball as a non-profit organization, SLV Hoops, Youth, Inc. to promote youth sports in the San Lorenzo Valley. The volunteers are: Mark Brown (founder), Sean Castagna, Jim Crouch, Russell Gross, Marcus A. Northcutt and Andrea Trader.
The umbrella organization, SLV Youth Inc., will have three separate entities: SLV Hoops, Spin Youth Softball, and Running Redwoods AAU Basketball.
SLV Hoops will be for kids third through the eighth grades, and they will practice and play at the middle school and high school facilities. Games will be played on Saturdays.
Registration will be on November 5. Tryouts are on December 5. For additional information: slvyouth.org.
