Two maintenance projects southbound on Highway 17 between Sugarloaf Rd. and Crescent Dr. (North) near ScottsValley begin Monday, November 2. Caltrans officials announced roadwork details as follows:
 –         Monday, November 2, and Tuesday, November 3, southboundin the right lane. Closure from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for crack seal operation between Sugarloaf Rd. and Crescent Dr. (North).
–         Wednesday, November 4, southbound on the Pasatiempo on-ramp from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for sign work.
–         Thursday, November 5,southbound in the right lane. Closure from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for crack seal operation between Sugarloaf Rd. and Crescent Dr. (North).
–         Friday, November 6, southbound in the left lane. Closure from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for crack seal operation between Sugarloaf Rd. and Crescent Dr. (North).
Motorists can expect a delay not to exceed 15 minutes. Work is expected to be completed on Friday, November 6, weather permitting.
The California Highway Patrol will assist with traffic control and electronic message boards will be activated to advise the public about this project.
Roadwork is being performed by Santa Cruz sign and Santa Cruz maintenance crews to improve the pavement surface.
