The 16^th Annual Environmental Town Hall

On December 5, 2015 at 1:00-3:00 p.m., State Assembly Member Mark Stone, will speak at the 16^th Annual Environmental Town Hall at 6191 Highway 9, Felton. Assemblyperson Stone will present on environmental issues and legislation at the State level that affect our lives, homes, and businesses.
In addition to Assemblyperson Stone, representatives from the Regional Transportation Commission and the Santa Cruz County Environmental Health Services will be present. The event is sponsored by the Valley Women’s Club’s Environmental Committee.
After the presentation there will be a far-ranging Q&A on topics posed by the audience.

San Lorenzo Valley Kids at it Again

After a successful concert on November 8th at Felton’s Trout Farm Inn, the Beatles Showcase Class kids from the San LorenzoValley hit the big time! On Saturday, December 12^th, they are performing in Santa Cruz at The 418 Project, located at 418 Front Street. The performance starts at 7:00 p.m. and there is no cover charge.
Director Arindam Krishna Das of Santa Cruz Performing Arts is very proud of his kids, ages 7 to 18, who have worked so hard to learn the songs from “Rubber Soul” and “Revolver” which they will be singing and playing. This is a chance for them to show off their talents one more time so if you missed the November 8^th performance, here’s another opportunity.
