The Scotts Valley High girls tennis team finished an undefeated season with a league championship and individual titles for Malie Collins and the doubles team of Capella Yee and Kailey Payne.
The Falcons won the Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League title with a 12-0 record and will compete in the team Central Coast Section championship on Nov. 10. Collins and partners Yee and Payne will play in the CCS individual tournament Nov. 23 and 24.
In the final, Collins, a senior, defeated Harbor High sophomore Kristen Perez, 7-5, 6-2, to capture the first singles title of her high school career.
The team of Yee and Payne defeated Aptos’ Haley Kepler and Erica Hoffman, 6-4, 6-3, in the final to win their first league title.
The matches took place at the Tennis Club of Rio Del Mar on Wednesday, Oct. 28.
