EDITOR,
I have a degree in nutrition and have worked in a nursing home and have seen and heard a lot. I don’t think it’s a big deal to talk about things like this, and I’m sure that Beulah Sutton is grateful to be alive and is likely amused by the reference to such a trivial inconvenience as occasional gas (“Scotts Valley woman turns 102,” Oct. 16 Press-Banner). 
Let’s let the reporter have something to giggle about. And how about the rest of us lighten up a bit?
