Santa

RE: Shout Out to the Ben Lomond Post Office
About one week before Christmas my wife had our two young children wrote letters to Santa, addressed them to the North Pole and dropped them in our mail box. We had zero expectation of any sort of reply. However, to our surprise, a couple days later two letters from the North Pole arrived.
In case that wasn’t cool enough, each letter contained a personalized letter of nearly 200 words that responded directly to our children’s letters without making any promises. The letter was written on Santa Claus letter head. Moreover, it was chalk full of creative explanations of life at the North Pole.
The only mistake is our daughter was thought to be a boy, but that is understandable since she asked for a dinosaur and a train.
Now, if that isn’t Christmas magic, I don’t know what is.

Ben Lomond
