Tree-lighting ceremonies will be held at 5 p.m. tonight, Nov.25. in Boulder Creek, tomorrow, Nov. 26, in Felton, and Dec. 3 in Scotts Valley.

Friday, November 25
Scotts Valley Educational Foundation Annual Christmas Tree Sale
When: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Where: Boys and Girls Club parking lot, 5060 Scotts Valley Drive, Corner of El Pueblo Road
What: All proceeds go to libraries, music, counseling at Scotts Valley schools. Hours through Dec. 23: Sat.-Sun 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Tues.-Fri. 3 p.m.-6 p.m., Closed Mondays
Santa Comes to Town in Boulder Creek
When: 5-8 p.m.
Where: Parking lot behind Boulder Creek Hardware
What: Santa arrives to light the town tree at 6 p.m., then moves to Rec Center for photos; carriage rides through town, music from carolers and local students; snow-making machine
Roaring Camp Tree Walk train
When: 11 a.m. and 12: 30 p.m.
Where: Roaring Camp Railroad, Felton
What: Decorated steam train rides to Bear Mountain, for cider and tour of lighted tree forest; rides continue at 12: 30 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through December 11

Santa Cruz Holiday Lights Train
When: 5, 6:30 and 8 p.m.
Where: Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk
What: Decorated train leaves in front of Neptune’s Kingdom, travels through downtown Santa Cruz and back, with one-ride pass to boardwalk; continues for four weekends, Saturdays and Sundays only

Polar Express Train Ride
When: 1, 3, 5:30, and 7:30 p.m.
Where: Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk
What: Polar Express train travels to North Pole in Capitola, picks up Santa for return trip back to boardwalk, with food and presents on board; continues on select dates through Dec. 23. First weekend sold out
