BULLETIN:
Another alternative route to Highway 17 has been closed.
Cracks in the road at the Glenwood Cutoff and a sinkholeon Glenwood Drive at the Glenwood Cutoff prompted the closing of this road to all but local traffic. Barricades were installed about noon today (Feb.16) at the Glenwood Drive and Glenwood Cutoff exits on Highway 17, and on Glenwood Drive north of the Santa Cruz High School.
Also, Mountain Charlie Road in Scotts Valley is closed to through traffic, open for local traffic only, because of road conditions.
Lodge Creek Road in Boulder Creek remains closed because of mudslides, and the Santa Cruz County Public Works Department issued new caution warnings for Bear Creek Road and Jamison Creek Road, which are still experiencing multiple mudslides.
