Brian Criswell, 43, who formerly worked as a wrestling coach, court-appointed child advocate and teen leader at the Boulder Creek Recreation Center, was sentenced to 13 years in prison for child molestation on Oct. 14.
In 2013, Criswell faced 30 charges of child molestation with three victims and faced 15 years to life in prison. He is currently serving his sentence at San Quentin State Prison.
Austin Combs, 28, arrested Aug. 3 for shooting a man in the face, sexual assault, kidnapping and robbery, had his preliminary hearing continued to May 7, 2018.
Austin, being held in Santa Cruz Main Jail, on $650,000 bond, had been scheduled to being his preliminary hearing on Monday.
At preliminary hearing a judge reviews the charges and determines if there is sufficient evidence to bind the defendant over for trial.
Deputy District Attorney Jason Gill said that there are more than 100 pieces of evidence that have not been reviewed by either he or the defense attorney.
