EDITOR,
Think of an earthquake or disaster before making streets and parking lots into mazes. Delayed traffic through choke points and abrupt turns will affect those requiring assistance.
Sit at any local spot and you wonder, where did they get these designs? Nature has curves and varying angles that produce harmonious flow. Angled parking saves many people numerous attempts, time and fuel. Plus, each added attempt involves more risk. Large vehicles and seniors struggle with turns and manmade barriers. Add some earthquake debris, and you have gridlock.
One vehicle paralyzed Mount Hermon Road by hitting a pole. What will a shaker do? Perhaps the entrance to ABC/Mollies should be angled so turning cars do not bring Mount Hermon traffic to a halt.
