• A Boulder Creek woman’s car windshield was hit several times at 3:07 a.m. on the 14000 block of Highway 236.
Nov. 30
• A man was caught trying to steal alcohol at 12:26 a.m. from Safeway, 6255 Graham Hill Road, in Felton. Three months ago, the same man served three days in jail for petty theft from Safeway in Scotts Valley.
• A man stopped for a traffic violation at 3:42 a.m. was found to have a small amount of hash and marijuana on Highway 9 at Western Avenue in Brookdale. He was arrested.

• A man was caught at 5:42 p.m. trying to take alcohol from Johnnie’s Market, 13225 Central Ave., in Boulder Creek.
Nov. 24
• A woman stopped for having no license plates on her car was found to have an out-of-county warrant at midnight on the 15000 block of Highway 9 in Boulder Creek.

• Someone entered a woman’s unlocked shed and stole a barbecue and some wood around midnight on the 1200 block of Hopkins Gulch Road in Boulder Creek.

Nov. 25
• A 3-year-old Boulder Creek boy who rode his bicycle into the intersection of Junction and Lomond streets was hurt when he was struck by a Honda Civic. The child was not wearing a helmet, but his injuries were not serious.

• Gary Stewart of Scotts Valley tried to flee after his car struck another vehicle on Mount Hermon Road near Covenant Lane at 6:51 p.m.. He was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and hit and run, both felony charges.

• Heather Hazen, a 26-year-old from Santa Cruz, was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving after her car overturned and struck a utility pole at 4:14 a.m. on the corner of Pine Flat Road and Kelly Lane in Bonny Doon.
• Christina Clark, a 21-year-old from Santa Cruz, was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving after the car she was driving rolled over at 12:55 a.m. near the intersection of Graham Hill and Simms roads in Scotts Valley.
• A 21-year-old women from Ben Lomond was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving at 11:20 p.m. after her car ran off the roadway and hit a telephone pole along Highway 9 near Bear Creek Road. Preliminary tests showed her blood-alcohol level to be more than twice the legal limit.

• Kyle Shipe, a 19-year-old from Scotts Valley, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated when his car overturned and struck a utility pole at 4:37 a.m. on the corner of La Madrona Drive and Silver Wood Lane. Preliminary tests showed his blood-alcohol content to be nearly twice the legal limit for a drinker of legal age.

• A 53-year-old man tried to steal a flashlight because it cost too much at 8:17 p.m. on the 200 block of Mount Hermon Road.

• A teenager was found with marijuana at 12:47 a.m. while sitting in a car on the 200 block of Mount Hermon Road.
Nov. 25
• A man tried to buy food from a fast-food drive-through using a fake $20 bill at 2:13 p.m. on the 5600 block of Scotts Valley Drive. When confronted about it, he drove away.
• An underage youth, reported as suspicious, was found with alcohol that he reportedly stole from a liquor store on the 200 block of Mount Hermon Road at 7:30 p.m.

• Someone took several guitars and two amplifiers from a storage building on the 100 block of Sawyer Circle at noon, while the owner was away for the Thanksgiving holiday, according to reports.

• A teenager left a camera in a bathroom stall on the 500 block of Glenwood Drive and went to retrieve it at 4:34 p.m., only to find the camera gone.
