A section of Highway 9 will be closed from Lower Glen Arbor Road to Upper Glen Arbor on Tuesday, May 14, through Thursday, May 16, from 9am-3pm.
This closure is necessary so that Caltrans can perform work on various trees between Scenic Way and Woodland Drive to ensure the safety of all travelers. A crane will be placed on the highway to facilitate this work.
Local residents will be allowed through the closure area, and California Highway Patrol will be present to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
This roadwork is being performed by the Caltrans maintenance team in Santa Cruz.
