San Lorenzo Valley Middle School Theatre will present “Moana JR.” this weekend, Nov. 15-17, at the SLV Performing Arts Center, located at 7105 Highway 9 in Felton.
This heartwarming coming-of-age story follows the strong-willed Moana as she sets sail across the Pacific to save her village and discover the truth about her heritage. Moana and the legendary demigod Maui embark on an epic journey of self-discovery and camaraderie as both learn to harness the power that lies within.
Based on the Disney film “Moana,” this 75-minute musical is directed by Scott Kravitz, with music and vocal direction by Michael Roco, Olive Huxley and Nita Wright-Anderson and choreography by Jaycee Barber.
Performances of “Moana Jr.” are Friday and Saturday at 7pm, with additional matinees on Saturday and Sunday at 2pm.
A limited number of tickets will be sold at the door one hour prior to showtime; advanced tickets are available online at the SLV Theatre Boosters webpage.
