EDITOR,
It is a truism of life that bad taste rears its head at the most inopportune times. I would hope that Dr. Max Ebrahimian did not really mean to trade on the untimely death of Tim Russert in his quest to attract more clients.
I can appreciate that overall physical health can be dependent to some extent on dental health, but I fail to see how speculating on the root cause of Russert’s death, while never having examined him, in an ad clearly intended to bring in new clients could ever be thought of as the mark of a professional medical practitioner. (Press Banner, June 19)
Dr. Ebrahimian, if you had wanted to educate the public about dental disease and how it can affect overall health, then a better use of your advertising dollar might have been to actually list a few real-life examples of cause and effect.
You, sir, owe the Russert family an apology.
