AgapeDanceAcademy announces its participation in the Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) dance competition in San Francisco, March 4-6. Agape is the only dance school that represents Santa CruzCounty selected to represent Santa CruzCounty.
The studio’s best dancers are scheduled to perform an ensemble piece to Bizet’s “Symphony in C,” as well as a number of solo performances. America’s largest ballet competition, YAGP awards scholarships and provides masters’ classes at San Francisco Ballet.
“We strive to enrich our students with every possible dance opportunity,” said owner Melanie Useldinger. “The best dancers from all over the country attend YAGP, and we are all proud of our group for taking dance so seriously and participating.”
