Jen Arynes looks through the Christmas decor and gifts in a special room dedicated to Christmas at Scotts Valley Artisans.

Scotts Valley Artisans has opened a Christmas store and will host an open house to celebrate from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23.
Santa Clause will be on hand from 2 to 6 p.m., and homemade goodies baked by the artists — many of whom will be in attendance — will be available, along with hot chocolate, eggnog, wine and soft drinks.
The Christmas store is a fundraiser for Scotts Valley Artisans’ nonprofit community art center.
Merchandise includes handcrafted wreaths, Christmas decor, gift wrap and tags, ornaments, candles and Christmas jewelry. A gift-wrapping service is also available.
The store is at 230-D Mount Hermon Road in Scotts Valley, near Cinelux.
