
San Lorenzo Valley Museum will host its 10th annual Children’s Christmas Tree Trimming next weekend.
The museum invites children 3 and older, with their parents, to spend the afternoon creating ornaments, wreaths, corn husk angels, door swags, decorations and cookies.
The event will take place from noon to 4 p.m. Dec. 2 at the museum, 12547 Highway 9, in Boulder Creek.
The event is free, but a $5 donation to the museum is appreciated.
Parking is available at nearby Boulder Creek Community Church and is sponsored by W/A Insurance, Joe’s Bar and Redwood Resorts, with fresh fruit snacks donated by Fresh Express.

Santa comes to town
Santa Claus is scheduled to visit Boulder Creek as part of the annual Santa’s Coming to Town event downtown Friday, Nov. 23.
Festivities will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. in downtown Boulder Creek, including horse-drawn wagon rides, Santa arriving by fire truck, businesses open for holiday shopping and Christmas music throughout the evening.
