Brookdale resident Peter Konrad Sigmund pleaded guilty, Thursday, Dec. 1, to11 counts of child sexual abuse against two young boys in 2010.
According to Santa Cruz County District Attorney Bob Lee, Sigmund also admitted that he had produced and kept child pornography and that he showed harmful matter to a child with the intent of seducing the child. Sigmund will likely be sentenced Feb. 1 to 25 years in state prison.
Sigmund, 44, was arrested in August 2010 after he was accused of inappropriately touching a child younger than 14. He was released on bail shortly thereafter and was arrested again in January, while the first case was pending, after being accused of having had sexual contact with a second child under the age of 14.
Sigmund is held without bail in the Santa Cruz County Jail.
