No one was seriously injured when a valley teenager rolled a vehicle with three other teens inside during school hours last week.
A 17-year-old boy from Brookdale driving a 1995 Isuzu Rodeo with three teenage passengers rolled the SUV “multiple times” at 10:50 a.m. Oct. 28 in the parking lot of construction supply store Pro-Build off of Graham Hill Road in Felton.
The California Highway Patrol reported that the SUV was speeding through the parking lot when it hit a drainage ditch, at which point the driver lost control and it rolled over.
Beside the driver, another 17-year-old boy, a 15-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl, all from Boulder Creek, were in the vehicle. Two were taken to Dominican Hospital for minor to moderate injuries.
Neither alcohol nor drugs was involved, but the teenagers said they were cutting class.
