Scotts Valley native opens tire shop
Lloyd’s Tire and Auto Care is expanding into Scotts Valley starting in February.
Dean Schwartz co-owns the three shop chain with Larry Johnson and will manage the new center at 5310 Scotts Valley Drive. Schwartz is a lifelong resident and in a news release wrote that he looks forward to seeing a lot of familiar faces in the shop after it opens on Feb. 1.

New space for Agape Dance
Agape Dance Academy is expanding their space and their offerings in Scotts Valley.
The company’s new studio is across the parking lot at Kings Village into the space at 226 Mt. Hermon Rd. formerly occupied by KidsArt.
On Monday they held a new trial class for hip hop dance. The company is also teaching lyrical dance for teens, dance for musical theater for all ages as well as ballet and tap.
