Satellite Telework is award finalist
Felton’s Satellite Telework Centers was selected as a finalist for Red Herring’s North America 100 award, a list honoring the year’s most promising private technology ventures in North America.
“The world of work is changing, people want more flexibility in where and when they get their jobs done, and we believe our business model — enabling people to avoid the commute and work closer to home — has tremendous growth potential,” Satellite CEO Barbara Sprenger said in a prepared statement.
Finalists for the award are selected based upon their technological innovation, management strength, market size, investor record, customer acquisition and financial health.
The finalists were invited to present their strategies this week at the Red Herring North America Conference in San Diego. The winners were announced after press time Thursday, June 24.
Satellite plans to expand into Scotts Valley in July and into Santa Cruz in October.
