Boulder Creek cleanup
Chris Flynn of Boulder Creek Antiques has organized a Boulder Creek Cleanup Day to help revitalize the downtown area. She encourages business owners and Boulder Creek residents to meet on Highway 9 in downtown Boulder Creek from about 7 to 8:30 a.m. Saturday, July 24, to brush cobwebs from outside walls of businesses, pull weeds from overgrown flower beds and sweep the gutters.
Tools won’t be provided, so Flynn encourages those who have them to take brooms, trowels, shovels and rakes to help out.
She scheduled the cleanup early in the morning so volunteers can sweep out gutters before cars begin to park alongside the road.
“I hope we can schedule these on a more regular basis,” Flynn said.
