Money manager ranks near top
Portfolio manager Thomas Wynn of Wynn Capital Management in Ben Lomond was ranked 10th of 64 firms in the “Core Equity” category for performance over the past three years by Money Manager Review.
Money Manager Review has tracked, ranked and analyzed the performance of money managers since 1987.
WCM ranked No. 1 for having the lowest risk over the past three years. For the past five years, WCM ranked 24th of 60 firms for performance and was the top-ranked management firm for having the lowest risk.
Wynn manages about $12 million in assets.

Hair stylist celebrates one-year anniversary
Hair Stylist Penny Golding celebrated her first year in business as Cuts by Penny at Brendalin’s Hair Design in Felton.
Golding and her husband moved to Ben Lomond from Florida, where she owned her own barbershop for 15 years, to live closer to her grandchildren.
“I enjoy my work, some people feel that I should charge the going rate, but in my heart, I feel that if I can help in anyway when times are hard for many, this is the least that I can do for my community,” she said.
