Chamber has two board openings
The San Lorenzo Valley Chamber of Commerce seeks nominations to fill two vacant positions on its board of directors. The nominating committee will accept names until 5 p.m. March 7.

Artist expands business
Pam Patterson, a barista and manager at White Raven coffee shop in Felton, has started an art business she calls Art By Red Dog.
Patterson, a painter, stained-glass artist and most recently photographer, will have her California Cruz Collection on exhibit at the coffeehouse through April 1.
“It’s a great time to reinvent yourself, and change can be a great way to refocus your talent into other areas,” said Patterson, who intends to continue her work at the coffee shop.
The White Raven is at 6253 Highway 9 in Felton.

Artist on display
Dichroic glass artist and painter Nancy Geddes’ art will be on display through March 10 at SueDee’s Quilting, Knitting and More, 222-G Mount Hermon Road, in Scotts Valley. Geddes’ paintings use vibrant colors and often include flowers, landscapes and abstracts.
The exhibit is titled “Inspired by Fabric” and can be seen between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. at SueDee’s.
