Spa announces skin care event to benefit schools
Scotts Valley Spa and Boutique, 4301 Scotts Valley Drive, will hold its first bi-monthly educational event to benefit Scotts Valley schools from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21.
The event will feature Glo Therapeutics products and include raffles, makeup consultation and more.
Cost is $20 in advance to hold a pre-booked start time.

Business association swears in officers
The Boulder Creek Business Association will hold its annual installation dinner and auction at Scopazzi’s, 13300 Highway 236 at 7 p.m. Feb. 23.
Fifth District Santa Cruz County Supervisor Bruce McPherson will install Eric Hammer of Eric Hammer Construction as president; Hallie Greene, executive director of Boulder Creek Recreation and Parks District, as vice president; Abby Rohrbaugh of Liberty Bank as treasurer; and Zephyr Pfotenhauer of A Recycled Design as secretary.
New directors are Justin Acton of Boulder Creek Pizza and Pub, Ann Marie Conrad of Boulder Creek Hardware, Chris Currier of Mountain Mechanics, Tamara O’Kelly of Historic Hartman House and Tonya Silvestri of Bookkeeping Services.
Tickets are $40 per person in advance or $45 at the door. A no-host bar opens at 6 p.m.

Adviser promoted to managing partner
