Thrift store to close during remodel
Abbots Thrift, 6164 Highway 9, in Felton, will close from Saturday, March 23, to April 7 to be remodeled.
While the retail portion of the thrift shop will close, the store will continue to accept donations Thursday, Friday and Saturday from noon to 4 p.m.

Job faire on tap
The San Lorenzo Valley Chamber of Commerce will host a job fair from 9 a.m. to noon April 27 at Felton Presbyterian Church Taylor Hall, 6090 Highway 9, in Felton.

Chambers collect information
The chambers of commerce in Santa Cruz County have begun to gather data for the fourth annual Countywide Business Conditions Survey.
This year there are geographic-specific segments with questions that pertain to the San Lorenzo Valley and Scotts Valley.
