The Scotts Valley branch of Santa Cruz County bank collected more than 20 percent of the 141 pairs of pajamas donated at bank locations in the county.
Pajamas from the two-week collection will go to children who enter a homeless shelter, transitional housing or other “out-of-home” setting.
“We thank everyone who participated in this community project. It feels great knowing that so many kids will receive a pair of pajamas of their own to wear,” said David Heald, president and CEO of Santa Cruz County Bank.
