Tree proceeds go to education
The Scotts Valley Educational Foundation Christmas tree lot completed another successful year with the help of many local businesses and organizations.
Wayne Schaffer donated the lot on Scotts Valley Drive; Mike Smith, Dene Bustichi and Eric Seib designed, provided supplies for and built the lot; and Alexander Electrical and Scott Stratford provided the lights.
The Scotts Valley Kiwanis loaned the tents and volunteered along with parents and student volunteers.
