Scotts Valley’s Elite Martial Arts will host a free family fun day Saturday, May 1.
The studio, at 266 Mount Hermon Road, will have a jump house, face painting, board breaking, sample classes and demonstrations for the community from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Art gallery opens at Don Quixote’s
May 16 will mark the grand opening of Don Quixote’s International Music Hall’s art gallery.
The artwork of Brookdale-based artist Jim Cox will be the first shown in the gallery. The gallery can be found in Felton at 6275 Highway 9.
