EDITOR,
So Sara Kelly wants the Press-Banner to quit publishing letters by Mike McClish, which is understandable (“No more letters, please,” Sept. 10). But how about quitting publishing letters by John Laird (“Candidate says thanks,” Sept. 10) while you’re at it?
He lost the election due to his unpopular politics and still insists on pushing his agendas. He indicates that he “looks forward to continuing to work together on issues that benefit Scotts Valley and the Central Coast.”
Well, Mr. Laird, we don’t all agree with your thoughts and feelings, and now that you’ve lost your election, we’d appreciate your staying out of it. Adult voters can make up their own minds regarding what “benefits” us.
