A serious collision occurred on Highway 9 on June 24, resulting in major injuries for both drivers involved. California Highway Patrol officers responded to the crash, which took place around 3:40pm south of California Drive.

According to reports, a 66-year-old woman from Boulder Creek was driving a white 2008 Lexus RX400 northbound on State Route 9 at an unspecified speed. Simultaneously, a 46-year-old man from Felton was traveling southbound in a black 2007 Lexus RX400, also at an undetermined speed.
