Motorists should expect intermittent delays of 20-30 minutes on Highway 236 in Boulder Creek this week as CalTrans replaces culverts near Oak Avenue.
One-way traffic control will be in place Monday, June 8 through Friday, June 12 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Overnight work from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. may be needed on Thursday and Friday.
The culvert replacement is unrelated to the slip out that occurred on Highway 236 this winter. Work on that section of road will begin June 15 and Highway 236 will be fully closed for three to four weeks for the project.
