The Center for Animal Protection & Education will host dog adoptions for those interested in taking home a new canine.
Dogs will be dressed in Halloween costumes from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, at Scotts Valley Feed, 5470 Scotts Valley Drive.
Until they find permanent homes, the dogs are housed in local foster homes. Each has been evaluated for behavior and health, has current vaccinations and has been spayed or neutered.
“Please come and join us on Saturday,” said J.P. Novic, executive director of C.A.P.E. “I know you will get such joy in meeting some of our rescued dogs — and, who knows, you may even decide to make one a permanent family member.”
Photographs of the animals can be found online.
