The Felton Library Friends is holding an open meeting, tomorrow Tuesday, Feb. 23 from 4 – 5:30 p.m., with County Supervisor Mark Stone at the Felton Fire Protection District meeting room, 131 Kirby Street.
The discussion will center on the future of the Felton Library including funding options for a new library and other issues related to library services in the San Lorenzo Valley.
Library hours in Felton were severely cut last summer and the library is currently open on Tuesday and Thursday for four hours each day.
However, the Friends continue to raise money to build a new library next to the Felton Post Office on land donated by the Verutti Family.
The meeting was originally scheduled for January, but was rescheduled due to illness.
