Rail corridor ribbon-cutting

Where: Along the railroad tracks in Watsonville, Aptos, Capitola, Live Oak and Westside Santa Cruz
Details: The Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission is hosting a community event to commemorate public ownership of the 32-mile Santa Cruz Branch Rail Line. Five Whistle Stops are scheduled along the route, featuring live music, history displays and refreshments. The Santa Cruz and Monterey Bay Railway will offer free train rides up the north coast from the Santa Cruz stop.
