My name is Llewellyn Blaire Burt. My father was Llewellyn Bill Burt. He was principal of BoulderCreekElementary School for many years. My brother Barry taught school at Quail Hollow for decades. I attended SLV Elementary and High school, graduating class of 68.
The reason for my letter to you is a mission of mercy. My oldest daughter Nikki graduated from law school August 8th of this year in Boise, Idaho. Four days later she suffered a major stroke and is now clinging to life in St. Luke’s Hospital in Boise.
The complete story is documented on a website WWW.NicolePoduru.com. On that website, you’ll find a link that is to gofundme.
I am contacting you in an effort to alert as many people as possible to our dire circumstances and hopefully gain support from my Valley people.
Nikki was born in Boulder Creek and moved to Boise after her mother and I split up. She will be just forty years old on October 22nd. The website pretty much details what we are facing. It’s not good. Any contributions will be appreciated from the bottom of our hearts.
If a monetary contribution isn’t possible a short prayer for my Nikki will be met with equal heart felt thanks and if only being able to pass the word on to any network of people is possible, you may still be considered a life saver and my personal hero.
They want to move her to a hospital in Denver that specializes in brain trauma. The only catch is that the medevac plane costs $100,000 up front. The folks at St. Luke’s are saying we’ve got about five days to make this happen.
I’m a frantic father asking the only friends I have ever known to please pay it forward and help me save my daughter’s life.
Thank you,
Llewellyn BlaireBurt,
Felton
