**Midnight: A Boulder Creek man reported that tools and his recreation vehicle had been stolen from his home on the 14100 block of Bear Creek Road after someone broke into his garage.
Oct. 14
**7:15 a.m.: A Brookdale woman reported that her purse, which held $10, had been stolen from her apartment on the 11300 block of Highway 9.
**1:35 p.m.: A woman was taken to a hospital for treatment and a man fled the scene after the woman was reportedly struck with a shovel on Highway 9 near the Rincon railroad crossing.
**7:19 p.m.: An unknown person convinced a Bonny Doon woman to wire money, purportedly to help her grandson, whom she was led to believe was in trouble. The grandson was not in any danger, and the suspect is being sought on grand theft charges.

**8 a.m.: Money and checks were reported as stolen from a Felton home on Lompico Road after the owner arrived home and discovered that someone had broken in.

**2:41 a.m.: A 42-year-old man was found camping in a no-trespassing area near Mount Hermon and Lockhart Gulch roads. The man, who was on probation, was arrested after officers found drug paraphernalia in his possession.
Oct. 13
**12:43 a.m.: A 25-year-old woman was arrested and released with a court date on the 5400 block of Scotts Valley Drive after she gave consent to allow officers to search her vehicle at which point they reportedly discovered a syringe in her makeup bag.
**10:15 a.m.: A 19-year-old man was arrested during a traffic stop on the 100 block of Mount Hermon Road after officers found he was in possession of marijuana and had a warrant out for his arrest.
**11:40 p.m.: A 24-year-old man was arrested after officers stopped him in a stolen vehicle at the intersection of Oak Creek Boulevard and Scotts Valley Drive. Officers found that the man’s driver’s license was suspended and reported that he was under the influence of heroin, had heroin with him and was in possession of syringes.
Oct. 12
**9:55 a.m.: A resident of the 300 block of Piper Cub Court reported that his laptop and laptop bag had been stolen out of his unlocked vehicle while it was parked overnight on the street.
**10:04 a.m.: A 49-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after officers found him on the 200 block of Mount Hermon Road.
**3:35 p.m.: A resident of the 900 block of Disc Drive reported discovering two unauthorized checks in the amounts of $64.89 and $400 on his online bank statement.
**6:05 p.m.: Reports of a man panhandling outside a liquor store on the 200 block of Mount Hermon Road led officers to arrest a 57-year-old man on an earlier warrant.
Oct. 11
**5:15 p.m.: A 19-year-old man was arrested after he was reportedly spotted with another person entering the Scotts Valley Middle School campus, 8 Bean Creek Road, and walking behind a maintenance building. Both people were arrested after officers found them with marijuana paraphernalia.
