  • 12:24 a.m.: A man was arrested for allegedly being drunk in a public place after deputies encountered him on the 5700 block of Highway 9 in Felton.
  • 1:13 a.m.: A woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol on the 5900 block of Highway 9 in Felton.

Jan. 29

  • 12:18 a.m.: A woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol after deputies stopped her vehicle on the 10000 block of Highway 9 in Ben Lomond for a broken taillight. She reportedly admitted to having recently left a bar after drinking three beers.

Jan. 28

  • 6:11 p.m.: A Boulder Creek man was contacted by deputies at the intersection of China Grade Road and Highway 236 after someone requested a welfare check for him. He was arrested after deputies determined that he was under the influence of drugs.

Jan. 27

  • 10:40 a.m.: A motorist was stopped for a vehicle code violation near the intersection of Highway 9 and Hihn Road in Felton. The driver was arrested after deputies determined that he was under the influence of drugs.
  • 5:45 p.m.: A man was arrested for an outstanding warrant near Covered Bridge Park in Felton.

  • Midnight: A resident of Woodwardia Avenue in Felton reported that someone had torn down a fence, causing about $500 in damage.

Jan. 24

  • 8 a.m.: A man was arrested on East Zayante Road after he allegedly become irate with his girlfriend, striking her repeatedly in the face with a closed fist and attempting to choke her with his forearm. 
  • 8:57 a.m.: A stolen carbon-fiber bicycle was found while sheriff’s deputies tried to serve a bench warrant on a person living in a trailer on an undeveloped piece of land in Boulder Creek, on Timberwood Road between Bear Creek and Shadow Mountain roads. The bike was returned to its owner.
  • 4 p.m.: A guitar was reported as stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 30 block of Conference Drive in Mount Hermon.

Jan. 8

  • 9:45 a.m.: A .22-caliber pistol was reported as stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 1000 block of Lockhart Gulch Road in Scotts Valley.

  • 9:43 a.m.: A bale of cardboard was reported as stolen from behind a business on the 100 block of Victor Square.
  • 4:19 p.m.: Two men, ages 20 and 19, were cited and released after officers responded to reports that they were drinking wine in public.

Jan. 26

  • 3:09 p.m.: A 36-year-old man was arrested for a felony warrant and on suspicion of driving on a suspended license and possessing drugs on the 200 block of Mount Hermon Road. His vehicle was towed.

Jan. 23

  • 2:13 p.m.: A 23-year-old man was cited and released during a vehicle stop on the 4500 block of Scotts Valley Drive after a vehicle records check revealed that the driver had a warrant out for his arrest.
