Someone entered an apartment on the 300 block of Juanita Road in Boulder Creek, ransacked it and took several electronic items at 8 p.m.

A plastic bag full of pills was found in a woman’s bra during a custody search on the 8400 block of Hihn Road in Ben Lomond at 9:28 p.m.
Aug. 25
An abandoned car was found on the first block of Grandview Avenue in Mount Hermon at 5:22 a.m. The owner was contacted and told deputies the car must have been stolen.

A woman said someone shattered her motor home window on the 6200 block of Graham Hill Road at 8:55 p.m.

A birdbath was stolen from a woman’s yard on the 100 block of Brier Drive in Boulder Creek at 2:49 p.m.
Aug. 16
Things were stolen from inside a man’s safe in his living room at noon on Grandview Avenue in Felton. The man said he had invited people he knew into his home the day before, but he did not realize the safe had been opened until the next day.

A church sign and white cross were destroyed and dumped in a creek at noon on the 900 block of Lockhart Gulch in Scotts Valley.
Aug. 1
Someone stole about four cords of wood valued at about $1,200 within the past two weeks from the 1500 block of Robin Hood Lane in Boulder Creek.

Aug. 30
Two men engaged in a verbal dispute about proper golf etiquette at 11:39 a.m. on the 200 block of Mt. Hermon Road. The argument became physical when both men struck each other. Neither man wished to pursue charges for battery.
Aug. 28
A 46-year-old woman put four CDs in her purse at the market on the 100 block of Victor Square. When she tried to walk out of the store, she was stopped by employees and then arrested by police. The woman had prior convictions for petty theft.
A 48-year-old man who caused a disturbance in front of a department store on the 200 block of Mt. Hermon Road was found to be unable to care for his own safety and was arrested on suspicion of being intoxicated in public at 8:02 p.m.
Aug. 25
A 19-year-old man who had been warned not to return to a home on the 100 block of Mt. Hermon Road used a knife to pry open a door to get inside at 1:50 p.m. The man reportedly stole a laptop and a cell phone and left the home before being arrested and taken to jail.
A woman stole a tip jar containing about $60 from a business on the 200 block of Mt. Hermon Road at 1:20 p.m.

Two drivers passed through stop signs without stopping and collided with each other on the corner of Tabor Drive and Scotts Valley Drive at 12:26 p.m. Both drivers were found to be at fault, and one needed stitches to repair a cut on her chin.
