• The district attorney’s office continues to review the Scotts Valley Police Department’s request for an arrest warrant in the case of more than $25,500 stolen Aug. 25 from the Scotts Valley office drawer of Travis Rebbert, head football coach of Harbor High School. Scotts Valley police completed their investigation in late September.

Oct. 3
• A reportedly intoxicated man tried to flee as police arrested him on two felony warrants. He and his female companion, also reportedly under the influence, were found with drug paraphernalia and syringes. Both were arrested at 12:01 a.m. on El Solyo Avenue in Ben Lomond. 
Oct. 2
• Someone tried to pry open several window screens at a Felton man’s home but did not get in at 5:56 p.m. on the 900 block of Hillcrest Drive.
• Someone crept into another Felton man’s home, rummaged through several of his drawers and left with two laptops worth more than $2,000 at 2:45 p.m. on the 1200 block of Lost Acre Drive.

• A stained-glass window was broken near midnight at the Brookdale Lodge, and alcohol was taken.   
Sept. 30
• Someone scaled a locked fence and opened a metal box that contained $25 worth of doughnuts at 2:30 a.m. on the 13200 block of Highway 9. The thief is still at large. 
• The dean of students at San Lorenzo Valley High School called deputies to report a student with marijuana in his backpack at 12:45 p.m. The student was cited and released to his parents.

• Domestic violence was witnessed and reported at 3:25 p.m. on Highway 9 in Felton.
Sept. 16
• A man entered his unlocked vehicle to find his satellite radio missing at 12:01 a.m. on the 100 block of Arden Avenue in Ben Lomond

Oct. 5
• A 41-year-old pedestrian was injured in Ben Lomond after being struck by a Toyota Corolla at 2:50 p.m. on Highway 9 at Forest Street.
Oct. 3
• A 62-year-old man was flown to Stanford for treatment after a major car accident at 11:35 a.m. on Empire Grade Road.
Oct. 2
• A 36-year-old woman was arrested after she crashed into a mailbox while reportedly under the influence of alcohol at 12:50 a.m. at Zayante and Madrone roads.
Sept. 29
• A suspect resisted arrest during a DUI stop at 9:05 p.m. on the 200 block of Mt. Hermon Road.
Scotts Valley Police Department
Oct. 5
• A 62-year-old woman was stopped for having a defective windshield. The officer also found 7.29 grams of marijuana in the vehicle. The woman was arrested, cited and released at 1:13 p.m. at Civic Center and Scotts Valley drives.
• A 27-year-old woman contacted police to get her car back from her ex-boyfriend. After a record check, she was found to have a no-bail warrant and was booked into county jail at 11:10 a.m. on the 100 block of Mt. Hermon Road.

• A girl threw a jar at her father and struck him several times during an argument at 12:56 p.m. in eastern Scotts Valley. She was arrested and booked into county juvenile hall.
Oct. 2
• Three young people in a car were cited and released for having cannabis in their pockets at 5:25 p.m. on the 300 block of Technology Court.
Oct. 1
• During a traffic stop on the 6000 block of La Madrona Drive at 8:13 p.m., a 21-year-old driver allowed police to search his car. Police uncovered marijuana and drug paraphernalia and then cited and released the driver.
• A man was arrested on suspicion of public drunkenness outside his house after a neighbor complained of a ruckus. Police noted that the 34-year-old was unable to care for himself and took him into custody at 7:15 p.m. on the 100 block of Terrace View Drive.
Sept. 28
• A couple became violent and both were arrested on suspicion of domestic violence at 6 p.m. in northwestern Scotts Valley. The lovers-turned-fighters were cited and released at the scene.
