Midnight: A man was arrested on the 6300 block of Highway 9 in Felton for being under the influence of drugs after deputies spotted him running out into the middle of traffic on the roadway.
 
May 2
Midnight: A parolee was arrested on the 7100 block of Highway 9 in Felton after he allegedly attempted to force his way into an apartment and threatened the occupant. Deputies found him in possession of a knife and placed a hold on his parole.
 
May 1
4 p.m.: A man was arrested on the 200 block of Sand Hill Road in Scotts Valley after deputies determined he was under the influence of methamphetamine.
 
April 29
8 p.m.: A parked and unlocked vehicle was burglarized on the 100 block of Glen Lomond Lane in Felton. Cash was reported stolen and a checkbook was later found in the area.

5:26 p.m.: A resident of Disc Drive reported that someone had entered his home and stolen his debit card and $7 in cash.
8:21 p.m.: During a traffic stop on Scotts Valley Drive, a man was arrested, cited and released with a court date for driving with a suspended license.
 
May 3
12:37 p.m.: A man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol on Mount Hermon Road after officers responded to an accident that blocked two lanes of the roadway. Both vehicles were towed from the scene and the impaired driver was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail.
 
May 2
9:59 a.m.: A vehicle was towed from a convenience store on Scotts Valley Drive after officers determined that its registration had long been expired.
 
April 30
9:46 a.m.: A woman was arrested outside a grocery store on Mount Hermon Road for public drunkenness and was booked into county jail after officers determined she was too drunk to take care of herself.
4:25 p.m.: Officers took a report after someone attempted to enter the stockroom of a business on Mount Hermon Road before being scared off by the alarm. Staffers reported that the rear door handle was missing.
8:33 p.m.: Officers took a report after a golf ball broke a motor home window on Granite Creek Road.
 
California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection
Fire protection units from Felton, Scotts Valley, Cal Fire, UC Santa Cruz and California State Parks suppressed a quarter-acre timber fire in Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park south of Felton. The cause of the fire was determined to be an abandoned campfire.
