A man was stopped at 2 a.m. on the corner of Highway 9 and Fall Creek Drive in Felton for riding his bike without a rear reflector. The man showed signs of being under the influence of a stimulant, and a urine test was positive for methamphetamine.

Someone cut down and took a large redwood tree from a man’s property on the 100 block of Roble Road in Boulder Creek, the man reported at 4:51 p.m. The man estimated the value of the tree to be $30,000.

The rear driver’s-side window of a car was smashed, causing $1,400 worth of damage on the 2800 block of Highway 9 in Felton at 1:05 a.m.

A man found standing in the middle of Graham Hill Road on the 5300 block was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at 7:05 p.m.
A man said he had meth and hypodermic needles at 12:31 a.m. on Mill Street in Ben Lomond.
A man sitting in his Jeep on the 200 block of Laurel Drive in Felton at 10:31 p.m. was found with marijuana. The man’s passenger had a white, powdery residue in his nostrils and admitted to snorting cocaine.

A license plate was reported missing from a vehicle parked at the high school on the 7100 block of Highway 9 in Felton at 9 a.m.

A man called and texted someone many times despite being asked to stop at 4:54 p.m. on the 13800 block of Highway 9 in Bolder Creek.

Someone stole about $1,050 worth of things from a man’s unlocked vehicle on the 8400 block of Glen Arbor Road in Ben Lomond at midnight.
May 1
An iPod was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle at 10:30 p.m. on the 300 block of Old River Lane in Ben Lomond.
April 20
Someone listed a house for rent on craigslist.com then tried to get a woman’s bank and identification information before allowing her to see more than the outside of the house on the 13100 block of Middleton Avenue in Boulder Creek.

Someone spray-painted an “obscene” picture on the sidewalk at noon on the 100 block of Civic Center Drive.
May 8
During a vehicle stop at 6:52 p.m. on Mt. Hermon Road near Skypark Drive, a 56-year-old woman was arrested after she was found in possession of heroin, paraphernalia, a loaded syringe and prescription medication.
May 7
A woman’s 1996 Saturn was stolen from the 900 block of Disc Drive but was discovered in Santa Cruz at 2:22 a.m. May 8 by the Santa Cruz Police Department.
May 6
Graffiti was found on the back wall of a business on the 200 block of Kings Village Road at noon.
May 4
A 20-year-old store employee was caught stealing embezzling money at 7:48 p.m. on the 200 block of Mt. Hermon Road. The man was arrested and booked into county jail after admitting to the crime.
Someone vandalized the back door of a business on the 200 block of Mt. Hermon Road at 8:30 a.m.
The school on the 100 block of Bean Creek Road was vandalized with graffiti at 9 p.m. School staff photographed the graffiti and removed it.
May 3
Someone entered through an unsecured window of a business on the 5200 block of Scotts Valley Drive and stole about $150 cash at 7 p.m.
