Midnight: A woman was issued a citation on Highway 9 in Boulder Creek after her ex-husband reported that she violated a domestic violence court order.
 
A woman was arrested at the intersection of Highway 9 and Cresta Drive in Boulder Creek after deputies found she was in possession of methamphetamine. After she was taken to the Santa Cruz County Jail, she was found to have even more methamphetamine.
 
A resident of Larita Drive in Ben Lomond reported that someone had taken his credit card and used it to make fraudulent charges.

4:42 p.m.: A man requested battery charges be brought against another man after he reported being kicked in the shin on the 13100 of Central Avenue in Boulder Creek.
 
Aug. 20
 
8 p.m.: Tools were reported stolen after someone forced their way into a building on the 2400 block of El Rancho Drive in Scotts Valley.

Midnight: A large mountain lion was sighted by a homeowner outside a residence on the 1000 block of Whispering Pines Drive. The lion had killed a deer, but was scared off by officers, who moved the deer carcass to a safer location. The lion later returned for the deer and disappeared with it into a wooded area.
