3:28 p.m.: Deputies arrested a man on the 100 block of Valley View Drive in Felton after he allegedly struck another man in the back with a tree branch during an argument.

Jan. 13
12:39 p.m.: Officers responded to reports of a verbal argument between a couple outside a business on the 200 block of Mount Hermon Road. A man was arrested at the scene when officers determined he was too intoxicated to care for himself.
6:13 p.m.: A man, described as being in his 40s, was arrested for allegedly shoplifting razors and mobile phone accessories on the 200 block of Mount Hermon Road.
8:16 p.m.: During a vehicle stop at the intersection of Lockhart Gulch and Mount Hermon roads, officers arrested the driver for possession of a controlled substance, as well as paraphernalia. Multiple items of property, believed to be stolen from local businesses, were also found.
Jan. 12
9:23 a.m.: A resident of Bordeaux Lane reported that their mail box had been smashed during the night.
2:23 p.m.: Two youths were arrested, cited and released for loitering after they were spotted running on the roof of Scotts Valley Middle School on Bean Creek Road.
4:44 p.m.: A resident of Sidesaddle Circle reported that someone had put two wood screws in two different tires on his vehicles.
Jan. 7
1:25 p.m.: Officers took a report of domestic battery when a woman reported two separate physical altercations between her and her former romantic partner (and current roommate).
6:58 p.m.: A male teen was arrested at SVPD headquarters and was taken to juvenile hall for allegedly battering his mother.
Jan. 11
12:09 p.m.: A resident of Lockewood Lane reported that two pieces of jewelry were missing from inside her room.
3:46 p.m.: A resident of Lockewood Lane reported that $20 and three rings were missing from inside her room.
Jan. 10
7:28 a.m.: Staff at Scotts Valley Middle School on Bean Creek Road reported that two large garbage cans were turned over, one has a broken lid.
Jan. 8
10:07 a.m.: A woman reported that a duffel bag containing medication was stolen while she was inside a restaurant on Mount Hermon Road.
