• Two men were pulled over for various traffic violations and were found to be under the influence of a controlled substance at 7:48 p.m. on the 12900 block of Central Avenue in Boulder Creek
Nov. 13
• A Scotts Valley woman’s home was broken into and $35 in cash was stolen during the day on the 500 block of Glenwood Drive.
• Someone was caught trying to steal alcohol from Safeway at
6 p.m. and was detained inside the store office on the 6200 block of Graham Hill Road.

• Someone broke into a Felton couple’s home and stole an Apple MacBook laptop, an iPhone, an iPod and two sets of earphones sometime between 6:40 a.m. and 4:10 p.m. on the 100 block of Redwood Drive.

• A Boulder Creek man was hit on the forehead several times by two unknown assailants at 9:45 p.m. on the corner of Highway 9 and Middleton Avenue.

• A man battered a woman and then hit a man with a beer bottle, causing injury, at 6:31 p.m. on the 9400 block of Highway 9 in Ben Lomond.
• Two men were arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public at 10:24 p.m. on the end of San Lorenzo Avenue in Felton.
Nov. 4
• A Scotts Valley couple reported at 8 p.m. that someone took jewelry and silverware while they were away from their home on the 3400 block of Bean Creek Road. The burglar broke open the front door.

• A 60-inch television was stolen out of a storage shed at Day Break Camp in Felton, as reported at midnight on the 6600 block of Rose Acres Lane.

Nov. 7
• A 40-year-old San Jose man was arrested at 11:05 p.m. on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol after he was caught weaving and driving at erratic speeds northbound on Highway 17 at Mount Hermon Road in Scotts Valley. According to reports, he had been drinking in Capitola before he headed home for the night.
• A worried driver reported a blue Ford F-150 driving erratically at 5 p.m. on Highway 17 southbound. The driver, a 34-year-old man from Watsonville, was arrested with 0.23 blood alcohol content at Granite Creek Road in Scotts Valley.

Nov. 12
• A Scotts Valley High School student was seen concealing a beaker in his jacket during class. When the assistant principal approached him, the student ran and ditched the beaker behind the campus. He admitted to the theft and was arrested before being released to his parents at 12:27 p.m. on the 500 block of Glenwood Drive.
• When a 20-year-old woman was stopped for speeding at 11:23 p.m. on the corner of Skypark Drive and Mount Hermon Road, police saw some marijuana in plain sight. After a search of the vehicle, more pot was found, and the driver was arrested, cited and released.
Nov. 10
• A young driver purposefully ran a stop sign at 1 a.m. in an attempt to “drift” his car while making a left turn at Blue Bonnet Lane and Kings Village Road. After crashing as a result of the stunt, the car had to be towed and the driver was cited.
• Indecipherable gold-colored graffiti was sprayed on concrete seating area on the west side of the skate park on the 300 block of Kings Village Road. It was removed by city public works staff at 3 p.m..
