• A drunken man was arrested when he tried to get into his neighbor’s house at midnight on the 100 block of Quail Hollow Road in Felton.

• Someone stole a $300 mannequin from the front window of Mabriel’s Clothing store, according to reports at 11:30 a.m. on the 12000 block of Highway 9 in Boulder Creek.

• A woman was arrested at midnight on suspicion of being on drugs while caring for a young child on the 11000 block of Flat Street in Boulder Creek. Police were notified of the negligence by a school, and when she was arrested, the woman admitted to taking at least three times her prescribed dose of Zanex.
• A man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public at midnight on the 13000 block of Central Avenue in Boulder Creek.
• Someone entered a home, leaving no signs of forced entry, and stole a laptop valued at $1,000 at 1:30 p.m. on the 100 block of Willowbrook Drive in Ben Lomond.

• Someone poured a white powdery substance into the engines of three heavy-duty tractors owned by Granite Rock Co., causing more than $1,400 in estimated damage, at midnight on the 1800 block of San Lorenzo Drive in Felton.

• A 28-year-old man was arrested for trying to break into a home to sleep for the night at 3:26 a.m. on the 4000 block of Granite Creek Road.
• Someone broke into an unlocked garage and stole numerous power tools and other equipment worth about $2,150 at 7:30 p.m. on the 4700 block of Scotts Valley Drive.

• A man was arrested after hitting a parked car and a sign in the Scotts Valley Junction parking lot and trying to flee at 8:23 a.m. on the 100 block of Victor Square.

• When a 43-year-old woman was stopped for a traffic violation at 8:57 p.m. on the 100 block of Bean Creek Road, officers found her with 1.3 grams of marijuana.
Jan. 5
• A 56-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public after police spotted a puddle of vomit next to his car, where he was sleeping, at 10:49 p.m. on the 200 block of Mount Hermon Road.
• Someone stole the rear license plate of a 60-year-old woman’s car at 1 p.m. on the 100 block of Vine Hill School Road.

• An argument between father and son turned physical in western Scotts Valley. No charges were filed, but a report was documented, naming the son as the dominant aggressor.
