• Someone hurled a rock through the front window of a Felton home, causing $500 in estimated damage, at 10:12 p.m. on the 4700 block of Highway 9.
 
March 6
• Someone broke into a locked car and stole some backpacks, wallets and credit cards at 3:20 p.m. on Highway 9 at Glengarry Road in Felton.
• Someone entered a building though an unlocked window and stole a number of cigarette packs from a storage room at midnight on the 6300 block of Highway 9 in Felton.

• A man stole an item from a liquor store on the 9400 block of Highway 9 at 10:33 p.m.
 
March 4
• A man had $620 worth of tools stolen from his unlocked vehicle at 2 p.m. on the 6300 block of Highway 9 in Felton.
 
March 3
• A drooling man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public at 2:57 p.m. on the 16000 block of Highway 236 in Boulder Creek.
• Someone kicked open the door of a Felton home and stole jewelry and cash at 7:30 a.m. on the 500 block of San Lorenzo Avenue.
 
Feb. 8
• Someone entered a home and stole $34 worth of stuff at midnight on the 19300 block of Highway 236 in Boulder Creek.

March 9 
• Low-flying PG&E helicopters flew over Scotts Valley and the surrounding area to check power lines during the early part of the day. A company spokesman said the flights were “routine patrols of distribution lines” to make sure the lines are safe in areas not easily accessible by road.

• Police found some teenagers drinking in a car and arrested one girl on suspicion of public intoxication at 9:02 p.m. on the 400 block of Whispering Pines Drive.
March 6
• A 60-year-old man tried to steal a bottle of whiskey from a grocery store on the 200 block of Mount Hermon Road at 3:26 p.m..
• A teenager tried to steal an MP3 player from a department store on the 200 block of Mount Hermon Road. He was arrested and released to his father at 1:01 p.m.
• A 35-year-old man hit a woman in the face and broke her glasses at 7:40 a.m. on the 100 block of Mount Hermon Road.
March 5
• Someone spray-painted graffiti on a mailbox on the 100 block of Christel Oaks Drive at 4 p.m.
March 3
• An 18-year-old was stopped for jaywalking and was found with marijuana at 10:40 a.m. on the 6000 block of La Madrona Drive.
March 1
• A man ran out of a department store on the 200 block of Mount Hermon Road with stolen goods, but when a security employee stopped him, he threw the goods on the ground and took a swing at the employee before fleeing in his car at 2:32 p.m. The man was later identified through a police photo lineup.

• Someone set a bundle of toilet paper on fire in the public restroom at Skypark at 8 a.m. on the 300 block of King’s Village Road.
